Whatchu doing, Nick?

My male bunny is always tipping over his water and food bowls. I don't get why. Last night, I poured him his water and he tipped it over right away! So I thought I was clever and put a bungie cord to either side of the bowl to keep it tight. That way it wouldn't move. It didn't work! The little f-er chewed it up! I really want to know what's going on in his head. Here's a pic of the chewed up cord.
